WE LOVE JUANA LA LOCA!!!
We hosted our rehearsal wedding drinks at Juana La Loca the night before our wedding, and it was truly beyond anything we could have imagined. We rented the space for a private event with around 80 of our guests, and it was absolutely perfect.
The venue itself is stunning—charming, vibrant, and filled with so much character. The layout made it effortless for guests to move around, whether they were grabbing a drink at the bar, dancing, or relaxing in one of the cozy lounge areas. The energy in the room was incredible.
From the moment I reached out, the owner George was amazing—kind, professional, and so accommodating. The staff was equally wonderful: friendly, attentive, and genuinely fun, which made the night feel even more special. We served a variety of small bites, and they were all delicious—so many of our guests raved about the food the next day.
Nestled on a beautiful street in Old San Juan, the location feels intimate and local—not overly touristy—which added to the magic of the evening. I truly cannot recommend Juana La Loca more for a celebration. It was unforgettable—a memory that my husband, our friends, and our family will cherish forever.
I am going to post more pictures when we receive from our photographer! (I had so much fun I didn't take many photos)
A must-visit spot in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico!
My sister and her husband hosted their wedding welcome party here, and the vibes were amazing all night long. George, the owner, was incredibly helpful and attentive—he made sure everything ran smoothly and was always available for any questions or needs. The entire staff was so friendly and made us feel well taken care of. Highly recommend this place for any event or just a fun night out. Can’t wait to come back—thank you for such a memorable evening!
Came here after deciding against drinks at another establishment after an odd encounter and we are glad we did, what a great experience! The drinks were so good and were garnished nicely. We had great service the whole time we were there and met some really nice people. The bar is big and beautiful with plenty of seating. Just overall a fantastic find for some friendly service/food and drink options.
This is my favorite place at Old San Juan for food, drinks and for having a good time. Friday and Saturday nights are the best. Food is so tasteful, drinks are amazing. The environment is very cozy with colonial Spanish style architecture. The staff is very kind and professional. Is a unique place that also has decorations and artifacts about a real story of the Spaniards. 100% recommended. Don't miss to go there if you visit Old San Juan.
On our first trip to PR we found this place for drink and late night snack of mussels at the bar. The drinks, food and atmosphere were great. We came back Thursday night for drinks and a full dinner which was amazing. We found out they had Brunch so we came back Friday morning to have a drink and delicious meal between checking out of our place and before going to the airport. My Piña Colada today was better than the place that created the drink. My only recommendations are a sidewalk sign to be more visible, and wifi, because the menu is online and I could not get a good cell signal.
