Gringos Jet Ski

Had a reservation & they were so busy! Me & my family timed our ride & sadly it was cut 5 minutes short. The confusion was MORE THAN CORRECT BY AARON! AARON is a great employee. He understood I was upset about not getting the full time. Aaron went out of his way to cater to me not only as a guest to the area, but also a customer to the business. I suggest renting & requested Aaron for his great customer service! We will be returning!

Had an amazing time renting jet skis here! The staff was super friendly, professional, and made the whole process easy and stress-free. The equipment was in excellent condition, and we felt completely safe the entire time. The location was perfect for riding — beautiful views and plenty of space to have fun. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an exciting and memorable experience on the water!

I edited by mistake. This review is from 4 years ago: I was so close to ignore this place, because some of the bad reviews I saw here and in Yelp (same ones, copied and paste on each site). Good thing I still went. Tried to call to the phone number on the billboard. Didn't get an answer so I went straigh to the beach, at a kiosk they have near the jets, on the backside of the Kioskos de Luquillo. You can't miss it. The process was very straight forward. You have to sign a couple of waivers. If you don't live under a rock and have done other activities like this in PR or any part of the word you know that's pretty standard. You do have to pay extra if you pay with a card. They have signs warning about this. Bring cash. There's a bank (Banco Popular) with an ATM, within a 4-5 minutes ride.The prices are higher than I read here. Is $80 for half an hour. Before paying, the guys tell you when is the next turn available. They have a timer and are pretty accurate as for how long people stay on water. I had to wait a little more than an hour. But mind you, you are waiting at the BEACH right next to dozens of nice kiosks and restaurants with great food, music, drinks, awesome view, even souvenirs shopping. If your wait is long and you don't like that beach, try the Balneario the Luquillo. It's right next to it, it's less crowded, has more shade from sun and you might find it prettier. They tell you to show up 10 minutes earlier so they can share the details of the machine and the area you can ride. The employees were really nice and attentive. I told them I had never ride a jet ski before and they explained everything with care. Once in the water, they have a guy who stays in the area riding on his own jet ski. I thought that's a great safety measure. One recommendation would be to improve the Covid measures they take. Most of the staff used some sort of mask at all times, but some of the guys didn't. On the water that wouldn't make sense, I mean on shore while they deal with public. Most of the clients don't wear mask when signing and paying. Even if this is on the beach, that's a mistake. People should wear masks when they are talking so close to the employees. They also forgot a couple of times to clean the vests with alcohol after each use, but they had disinfectant and provided when I asked. Once again, they were very kind. To summarize: -Safe and fun -Perfect for inexperienced riders -Nice staff -Great customer service -Just need to improve Covid measures -Overall, great activity to add to your day at the beach.

First time going on a jet ski (ever), first time riding with another person on a jet ski, and my husbands first time driving and being on a jet ski as well. 10/10 experience, from the kiosk to the instructions to the ride to going back everything was thoroughly explained. Had the time of my life best $100 spent. Thank you guys!
