I’ve been following this store on Instagram for about a year or so and planned on stopping by the next time I was in PR. Well I was just there last week and this was one of my first stops in San Juan! The owner (the dad) was super friendly, talkative, and shared a bit about the history behind the store and the pieces. I got caught in torrential downpour walking there and he kindly handed me paper towels and mopped up the puddles I left behind haha. I picked up a beautiful gold Coqui ring and the gold Puerto Rico pendant—pricey but worth every penny. Happy to support such a thoughtful, locally owned business and bring back pieces to remind me of my culture. Thank you!

Wonderful cute store with elegant options! My partner and I were looking for a jewelry shop in Viejo San Juan and all of them felt cheap and gimmicky. Not Coquí! The owners deeply care about the quality of their products and take great care to show you all their options. I ended up getting a wonderful coquí frog necklace with green garnet eyes.

My absolute favorite store in el viejo San Juan. A little over 2 years ago I got my first necklace from here with the map pendant, my husband bought it for me the day before he proposed to me, and it was my first time visiting PR to meet his family so this necklace has held sentimental value to me since. I accidentally broke the chain a few months after, and tried to fix it myself so I could still wear it. Fast forward, we went to PR a few months ago, and I wanted to go back to the store so I could get the Coqui pendant. The store owner was there and assisted me (super sweet family runs the store), and she offered to fix my necklace for me and ship it back home to me in North Carolina. I already thought that was great customer service. It showed up in the mail about a month later with a very nice letter, and not only my fixed chain, but a complimentary brand new one. I’m really happy with my bracelet and the quality is amazing. I’ve had it for two years now and it still looks like the day I got it. The store is a must visit while in Old San Juan, it’s one of those gems that you’ll be happy you stumbled upon. The owner is very helpful in answering questions. If you tend to have a more classic taste, this store is great for a timeless souvenir you can wear daily.

Ever since I went to Puerto Rico last May I fell in love with this jewelry!! My husband got me the coqui last June for my birthday and now the Puerto Rico Island pendant, just because! I am so in love with my pieces! Unique and great quality and an awesome way of displaying my roots!
