Island View Stable | Palmas del Mar

I decided on a 4 star review because the view from the high point was spectacular. Sadly, however, it did not completely fulfill the childhood dream of riding a horse on the beach. We rode to the beach, but our guide said we weren’t allowed any farther because there were sea turtle nests. It was all great. If it is important to you to ride actually on the beach, you might want to call and ask beforehand. Go in the morning. It gets hot in the afternoon. The horses are calm. They like to stop and eat. We drove from the Wyndham Palmas, and Google maps took us to a road that doesn’t exist. If that happens, go the other way around the school. It’s behind there. Golf course is beautiful. The flamboyant trees were in full bloom. View from the top was incredible.

To top off our 3 years spent here on the island, Island View Stable is by far my favorite other than our beach adventures! We have taken all of our guests here and every single time has been an amazing experience. They are very polite and if you have any questions about the island or people they answer your questions with no hesitation. One of the adventures I will surely miss here but have created beautiful memories with a ton of friends and family

We’ve horsebacked in different places all over the world and these horses were definitely the best suited to our group, some more comfortable than others. Simple trail, scenic views. Kids had a great time.

We had a wonderful ride with beautiful scenery! We liked that the horses didn’t walk in a straight line, single file. It felt very natural and we enjoyed ourselves!

Very informative and made our experience so much fun. The horses were so smart and seems to understand what we were saying. The horses knew the path to take. Let the horses grab some treats on the way. They seem to love the grass.
