Its not a leisure trip as you have to kayak through the mangroves in the dark- but id say its not too hard either even if youre not physically fit. Expect to get a bit wet.
You can't photo bioluminescence. Hence why you won't find pictures of it here in the reviews.
The guides were amazing and really made us feel welcome. We learned a lot and their operation is extremely professional while being insanely fun.
There are some companies that have groups of like 30. This company had a 3 guides for 8 people. ask how many will be in your group as I think the smaller groups are better.
It was one of the best in things we have ever done in Puerto Rico. Our guides were great. Gaby was the best, she was helpful and knowledgeable, friendly and so fun. John, Miguel and Brian were also really friendly and great. The dinoflagellates were cooperative even with the full moon. A wonderful trip we will remember for years to come. This is a great trip. Of you want a once in a lifetime experience this is it.
Bio bay kayak tours out of Fajardo harbor was awesome. Guides were awesome. Kayaking through the channel was fantastic. It was a great night for bioluminescence. The time we spent in the lagoon was mesmerizing. Beautiful water, great bioluminescence, and great night sky.
One of the coolest experiences I've had, the bioluminescent bay is truly amazing, definitely would recommend! Bio Bay Kayaks was fantastic, hotel pick up and drop off was very convenient, tour guides did a great job explaining everything we saw on the trip.
