Overall: 3.3/5
I tried the chicken skewer ($6) which came with some white bread. It was generously portioned with plenty of meat, but the chicken was a bit on the dry side. Overall, not a bad option if you're in a hurry and need a quick snack.
Bought Alcapuria 12in with crab, second bite the chemical of ammonia hit my throat. Once I smelled it smell the ammonia, i knew it was old crab. The Lady gave me my money back to my card, said she did but only 12$ not including tax. So I still loss. And its the principals. Can't mess with food especially seafood, I could've had food poisoning, its their lack of efforts to make sure the food that they serve is up to par. Seems like they don't care about the food they serve as long as they serve.
This place reminds me of the chinchorros in Puerto Rico. Their food is delicious and yes, there is a wait, but that means your food will be fresh and hot. I haven't tried their pinchos yet, but the bacalaitos and alcapurrias are the best I've had in Orlando. No other place comes close. I go to the Kissimmee area every other week and I always make a stop here to get my bacalaito fix. So freakin' good, man. Pay them a visit and you'll see what I'm talking about. Going back next week and I'll definitely try a few pinchos and update this review.
According to the posted hours on Google, the place was supposed to open at 2 p.m. However, when we arrived, they were still closed. We waited until 2:40 p.m., but they still weren’t taking any orders. Instead, staff kept telling everyone ‘just 3 more minutes’. It was frustrating and disappointing.
