I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. While it was clean and the rooftop was a nice touch, that’s about where the positives end. The bathroom drain was a constant issue water backed up every single day of our 5-day stay, and it was never properly addressed.
The front desk staff were unhelpful and unaccommodating. Nothing was brought to our room every request, whether for towels or ice (because the ice machine was broken), required us to go downstairs ourselves. Even then, we’d be told to wait around 20 minutes, which is completely unacceptable for basic guest needs.
To top it all off, the in-shower toiletries shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were all empty when we arrived. It took an unreasonable amount of time and multiple follow-ups just to get them refilled.
This experience was frustrating from start to finish. Definitely not the level of service or comfort you’d expect from a hotel in this price range.
Overall I would not come back to this hotel there are so many better ones in this area
First of, I'm giving it one star because it doesn't allow me to leave zero... To start, the hotel is not in a safe area; there are countless homeless people in the surrounding area and it's location is not a good one. The hotel also mentions that it has parking available, which is NOT true; the hotel does not have parking available. The alleged parking lot is an abandoned area full of garbage, with no security, no lighting, where homeless people come and go, and you are left to park there at your own risk. They have a supposedly private parking lot with a charge of $19 per night, which DOES NOT belong to the hotel, and they claim that they only have three parking spaces available, when clearly at the time of booking it indicates that it is not necessary to reserve the parking space in advance. In our booking, we paid for a room for three adults with a maximum capacity of four. Two of the people staying have vehicles, when I requested to pay for parking space for two vehicles, they told me that only one vehicle per room is allowed at the parking lot since they only have three parking spaces available. I also like to mention that they have extremely rude and unprofessional staff. It's obvious the front desk host is immature and inexperienced in the hospitality industry. She and her reception colleague were constantly laughing and mocking us. I recommend they effectively train their staff to be professional and treat guests well. In short, you get what you pay for. If you have the budget to stay at a nicer hotel, rule this one out immediately. That said, the hotel is very clean, and the rooms are extremely clean and smell good, if you're okay with not being in a safe area with little to no parking and rude staff, then choose this hotel.
Came for a no-frills and cheaper stay, and was very pleasantly surprised. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, amicably conversed with me in both English and Spanish. Rooms were clean, lots of surfaces and space. Nice little workout area and laundry facilities on upper floors. None of the bells and whistles of a fancy expensive hotel but all of the substance, cleanliness, safety and responsiveness that’s critical. Loved it and would stay again.
This hotel is a cutie patootie but it has a few years under its belt. The location was good in so far as there are about 7 restaurants within a block, plus a drug store and a supermarket. The service is a little iffy. For one not so warm and fuzzy person you have someone who is incredibly kind and helpful. The beds were comfortable. The furnishings were adequate. Handle in the shower was broken and the tub drink slowly but the complimentary toiletries smelled so good. The views from the rooftop though are absolutely amazing. They had an incredible amount of seating up there. A bonus was we were able to do laundry before we got on the cruise ship so we started off the cruise with all clean clothes.
I only used this for one night because i had an early flight. The airport is only 10 minutes away, I love the room, very clean, new carpet, bathroom clean n nice. Love the beds. Pillows are too small.
The biggest problems i had were: there's a bright light outside on my bed windows, the curtains were too short, light was on the wall were on my bed head is. It kinda kept me up. It looks like it was already day light out. since it was for one night and wasn't planning on sleeping that night, I was kinda okay with it but if I was staying more nights there, i would change room or check out early, it was very annoying.
No available power outlets, none by the bed, all were already occupied by the lamps, I had to unplug those lamps to use it (Room #201)
Nice views on top, u can relax, I'm not sure if there's a swimming pool, I didn't see one.
Nice location, everything is nearby, metro casino is 14 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive. Good restaurant n bars nearby.
There's a bar at the lobby, but it's closed. I think only wines are currently available there.
