DON'T BE FOOLED!!!! THERE'S A CAT AHEAD...
My recent experience was very disappointing and worrying. Although the business has a physical presence, it doesn't operate as a regular establishment. There's no signage inside or out. The staff is only present when someone makes a reservation, and service is coordinated remotely from Colombia, which is inconsistent with the alleged operation in Puerto Rico. The employees who were there that day allegedly don't even know who they are or who owns the "business."
The treatment from the moment I arrived was very poor, with harsh faces and sarcasm. The two employees watched me put my things in front of the establishment on four trips from the bus, and they wouldn't let me in.
On the day of my activity, there was no running water in the establishment, which is unacceptable in any space that receives a public. However, their very bright and thick paints, plus the dirty brushes with bristles stuck to them, suggest they don't have water because they were dirty. They had to be cleaned with a napkin.
Furthermore, although the business name includes "Wine," they are not licensed to sell or serve alcoholic beverages, which can be misleading to those seeking a complete "sip & paint" experience. This is due to the written agreements that stipulated the inclusion of corkage service and pouring wine into a glass, but that very same day the employee received a text message stating that they could not uncork or pour because they were not licensed.
Two days later, after the event, a relative of the "artist" wrote on my page, accusing me of falsehoods. This was a fundraising event for rescued dogs.
This lack of transparency and the conditions of the venue represent a potential scam, or at least an unregulated operation. I recommend that anyone interested double-check before booking or paying anything.
The authorities should review this case. Consumers deserve safe and legitimate venues.
