I am not sure the poor rating for Dr. Mandry. She is an outstanding professional and excellent doctor in Dermatology. My original dermatologist near where I live was difficult to reach and make appointments. The appointments were 6-8 months wait and they did not confirm. Due to the nature of my job I need to travel and it is difficult to forecast when I will be traveling so I missed two appointments. Finally I found Dr. Mandry, they open a slot for me the same day, I drove 40 miles to her office. She is been my doctor since, she found my skin problem and these days I go to follow ups. I recommended her to siblings and all have my same thoughts about her. Excellent!!
On behalf of my mother. The doctor is great but unfortunately the secretary is rude, treats patients badly, makes it almost impossible to schedule appointments, doesn’t return phone calls. My mother has been going there for years and is used to waiting close to 3 hours in the wait room but the fact that the secretary’s attitude is getting even worse, my mother will be forced to find another dermatologist. She has even gone in person to make an appointment and they had denied her one.There’s always an excuse to say no to patients.
Their priority is to make money. It takes so many patients that it is not enough to provide good service. My husband went to have several imperfections removed and since there were many, he removed ONE, passing the case to his assistant (who is not a doctor) so she could finish. The appointment was with her, not with her assistant. In my case, which was also to eliminate around ten blemishes on my face, it was done so quickly that after two weeks NONE fell off, so I called again to make an appointment as soon as possible to
correct this situation. The instruction she gave to the secretary was that she had to take a shift like any patient, so she had to wait several months to correct a job that she did incorrectly.
