My wife Maria and I were very impressed with the doctor. Her knowledge and understanding of how to diagnose eye conditions and how to treat them was very impressive. She also listened carefully and took into consideration our thoughts and concerns.
Her understanding of why eye problems have become epidemic in our society was very enlightened. It was also refreshing to go to an optometrist and have their top priority being how to help the patient understand their condition and not just try to sell you an expensive pair of glasses. Their website is also impressive. The only one I've seen in my entire life that spoke of natural treatments for eye conditions and even explains the physiology of the eye. We need more doctors like this who put the health of the patient first. Gracias!!!
My husband had a stroke in September 2022 and no doctor alerted us to damage to his vision until a neurologist suggested it weeks after he was discharged. We searched for what we were told needed to be a neuro ophthalmologist and the only one we found gave us an appointment for July! Then someone suggested this group and they gave us an appointment quickly. Dra Pico was very thorough and explained his problem clearly, showed us simple exercises, and saw us 3 weeks later. The progress was surprising, as his vision had improved greatly. Dra. Pico then gave us several more, simple exercises and some materials to work with. We were impressed with her clear explanation of how the brain needs to be stimulated and how vision exercises can help cross stimulation between both lobes, which is necessary.
The office is very well organized, clean and efficient, and very friendly. God bless this group!
