Great hacienda with beautiful grounds, great coffee and good eats from the onsite restaurant. Also a bar onsite, but I didn't get to check it out. We took the grounds tour which was very informative and the tour guide was jovial and enthusiastic about the topic she was delivering. Highly recommend. Bonus: the drive from Rio Grande was very scenic across the countryside.
Quite enjoyed our visit to Hacienda Munoz. The staff were very hospitable and we learned a little more about the coffee growing process and the history of coffee on the island. The entire site is well kept and quite nice to just sit and have a coffee. Our guide was very friendly and was happy to answer questions as we did the tour. While we didn’t eat here, they do have a full restaurant as well as a small snack bar.
All in all we enjoyed the visit and would recommend it if you are looking for an excursion.
We had a great experience. The food was really delicious. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing. Personnel were attentive. Coffee also delicious. only thing I would have liked was some typical music to match the setting. Music at the restaurant was very pleasant though and at the proper volume so one can chat. Overall very nice and we hope to return soon.
One of the best tours and tour guides. Great detailed explanation of coffee growing, harvesting, and production plus some local info. and comedy thrown in. Complete with a tour of the beautiful grounds and finished off with a little tasting.
LOVELY place. We did the coffee tour and María was the absolute tour guide. You could tell she loved the coffee making process and had a lot of pride in the business. 75 minutes for a comprehensive tour.
Restaurant was also great. Good food and everyone was very nice and helpful.
