Great place. Where people are giving everything they have to these animals. The dogs are amazong the people are amazing. Stop in and see them. Take a puppy home.

Need people who are called to help catch a dog equipped with the right tools to catch a dog or cat.

This is Milo (though I might rename him Rizzo…). I brought him home today. Something told me he would enjoy the open/closed feeling of a padded laundry basket. Milo was completely vetted. The fees are extremely reasonable. Amigos de los Animales Animal Shelter is an awesome shelter. The dogs there are so happy and very well cared for. The grounds are clean. I have an extreme fear of dogs I don't know. I felt totally comfortable the very second I walked into the shelter, lovingly surrounded by a number of dogs, all sizes. They (the dogs) just welcomed me in (looking for treats). They have lots of wonderful dogs available for adoption, from puppy to senior. There is one big boy who just rolls over when you come in so you can rub his belly. The dogs are not stressed at all. A friend of mine from my Zumba class introduced me to this shelter. I'm so glad she did! She got her dog Gigi from there last year. I will be donating food and treats as I am able to help them continue to care for their dogs. I highly recommend this dog rescue/shelter for your next pet. Additionally, please seriously consider financial and food donations at every opportunity to keep this shelter running. I am truly blessed to have Milo! Thank you Amigos de los Animales! You will be seeing me time and time again!

The shelter dogs at Amigos de los Animales need volunteers to walk them and show them some love. The dogs so enjoy their walks and it's truly a gratifying experience. Ruby and Malary are amazing and do so much to help the dogs.
