Our 2nd time here, Sun June 29th, and they didn't disappoint. It was an early dinner, and our waitress was also the bartender, again, early dinner. I didn't get her name but she had long brownish black hair, a young girl very nice and pleasant.
Our first time was a very late night dinner, and the bar side was very busy, and the restaurant side was slightly busy, but their food just seems to be very on point.
This Sunday, we, 4 adults, ordered wings for an appetizer, which were very good, and 2 entrees of white rice with red beans with chunks of fried pork with fried plantains. All very good. Yes, it was enough for 4 as we're not big heavy eaters. We also had 2 beers and 4 mocktails, and our bill, including the tip, was $82.
I'd definitely go back.
Best poured drinks in old san juan. Best value for the money a real dive bar. And they have the famous flaming jellyfish shots! A must and most heap bar in the area. Great spot!
Affordable spot. I had the lavender watermelon vodka cocktail in the menu. Perfection! Surprisingly for late night food it was really good! Garlic sauce shrimp Mofongo , yum. They had some really good sauces that I put on the salad it came with.
Lost my wallet - got it back with $200 missing. Staff refused to let me see the security cameras so i can see where that money went. If you're that desperate for money get 2 jobs or do better at your current one.
