My partner and I returned to El Condado, Vanderbilt Hotel in San Juan, PR and once again, we are not disappointed.
I want to start by commending Christian who works at the VC Lounge, he is the main reason we return to the lounge. He makes us feel like VIP and ensures we are happy with the food, beverages and service.
This to me comes a long way. I don’t like trying new places, tend to return to places where the service, food and atmosphere are tops! This is what Christian brings to the table.
Also, want to say thank you to Juancarlo Vazquez, as he ensured our accommodations were in order. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Christian and Juancarlo!
The service was impecable, this was our second time and it did not disappoint. Sebastian was our bartender that night and he was amazing and very considerate (As everyone else in this hotel). The drinks are amazing. Flavorful and very well balanced. Pricey but worth every penny.
Excellent cocktails, with beautiful ambiance. Expensive but it is a 5 star hotel.
Update: years passed and I have revisited several times, the drinks are still stunning. Certainly some of the best cocktails I have had.

8 months agoLove the vibes and decor here. Staff are polite and professional. Back patio excellent for lounging with sound of ocean if it gets too loud inside 🌊
