Professional yet fun and friendly. Instruction is in Spanish AND English. Classes for boys and girls 5-11 year olds and 12+ year olds, of all belt levels. Instructors are extremely experienced, very knowledgeable, regularly compete at a high level (both locally and international) yet they are patient, encouraging and motivating with the students. Ryoshi students consistently do impressively well at local and international tournaments. Membership and classes is very reasonably priced and the facility (dojo) is clean and well organized. Our 2 boys (13 & 15) find it fun, challenging and rewarding and I get to join in for the exercise too! A great place to learn the martial art of karate. 🥋
10 years ago I started at Ryoshi and I was at this academy for almost 3 years. To this day I follow the foundation that "Hanshi Albert" taught me in not only the practice of karate but also in philosophy of life. I recommend this academy at all ages to anyone who wants to be on a path of respect and a lot of effort, while improving one's physical health.
Excellent teacher. Family-oriented atmosphere. Focus on the personal and athletic growth of our children, youth, and adults. Discipline, persistence, and responsibility.
