This is such a cute store. When I saw on another review that they design their own clothes to sell in the store I was sold. I got the Valija Puerto Rico t shirt in green, and when I got to the airport later, I saw someone else with the same t shirt! Very cute designs at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend checking it out and would consider buying online as well
Cool clothes for decent prices with helpful and friendly shop assistants.
BUT!!
I had a very difficult time trying on clothes as it was so hot in the shop and they only had fans going. Middle of summer in old san juan necessitates good air conditioning. I would have loved to spend more time but had to cut my visit short.
If there was a way to give 0 or a negative star I would. The “store policies” are absolutely ridiculous and the way the staff enforces them is even worse. You are in a tourist area with customers in and out from all over the world. Try to be open to your potential customers instead of enforcing these “store policies”.
Let’s review some of them.
Can’t try on a swim suit cover up. You have to try every thing on in the dressing room. Even things that just go on top of your clothes.
If you even want to use the dressing room. You can’t pass things into the front of the dressing room curtain. You have to pass it from the side entrance of the dressing room curtain.
The woman just had a bad attitude towards it. Why not make your potential customers comfortable and make a much bigger sale. Instead of buying a single item. I would have purchased so much more and kept coming back. Last year I spent well over $1000 there and this year $80.
Just be nice. The store was empty. Let everyone enjoy the shopping experience. Stop with these rules.
Cute clothes, but when i walked in nobody greeted me, all employees were by register talking. When they did notice me i was being watched and followed. They even had a girl stand by the entrance door.
I was alone and dress like a tourist. Why the discrimination?
