A great place to snorkel. This is the other location on the snorkel tour besides Tamarindo beach. Lots is sea urchins in the entrance and quite rocky. Careful as you enter.
This place has no turtles but plenty of fishes and corals. If you are snorkeling by yourself, make sure to check weather beforehand. Windy and rainy days can make the water quite rough and turbid, hindering good views.
There is a small parking area and is easily accessible by golf carts. Not much space to just chill on the beach, though.
Beautiful and pristine shore entry for snorkeling that was as good as taking an excursion! My only complaint is there were sea urchins everywhere and luckily someone warned us before we stepped on one when we went to snorkel. We rented a golf cart for the day and this was the spot we kept coming back to! When you go out, only go shin deep and then float over the rock beds where the urchins are lurking... Go to the right about 100 yards to where you see rocks sticking out of the water and that's where the amazing reef and it's aquatic life awaits! Absolutely beautiful!

5 months agoBeautiful beach. Our guide showed us 6 or 7 green turtles and we watched them feed on sea grass. Lots of moon jellyfish and other reef fish.
