This restaurant is set back off the main drag into Rincon, but is a gem. The beers arrive ice cold which (a) makes them easy to drink in the heat of PR and (b) helps cool you down in the open air dining; not complaining about the open air dining as we enjoyed it, why else would you be visiting PR if not for the climate? I mean there are many other things as well LOL. The apps arrived nice and hot and we chowed them down!! We ordered the Sorrullitos and the Arañitas.. both amazing with and without the mayo ketchup. As for the main course I had the Mofongo con Carne Frita y Caldo and my wife had the Mofongo relleno de Churrasco. Both were delicious. The Churrasco was tender and not tough. For dessert we shared a Flan de Vanilla and I also had a latte. The flan was great!!! Loved it!!! The latte was the only thing I didn't enjoy as I wanted a Cafe con Leche and instead got something geared more for the young tourist. I get that, but this is Puerto Rico and Cafe con Leche should be available at any and all restaurants so the latte left me disappointed. Keep our culture alive while still catering to the tourist.
The red snapper was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, with a crispy skin and tender meat. The chicken mofongo was hearty and delicious, with the plantains mashed to just the right texture and seasoned beautifully. Together, they made a flavorful and satisfying meal that was both comforting and full of Caribbean flavor. Plenty of parking.
Came here and enjoyed some food! Have no clue what I ate though 😁, I asked Diana to help me figure out something to eat and that she did. She didn't fall short any where great attitude, service, and food recommendations! Thank you,
This place is Amazing! The food is fresh and delicious! You just feel at home here. Everyone was nice and friendly. Especially the waiters. Specifically Dana. She was very sweet! I highly recommend this place to eat for lunch!
