Went there twice in a week we were in Puerto Rico. It was 15mins away from where we stayed in Arecibo. This place is the best place so far for Asopao and Mofongo that we tried. Reminds you how your mom/grandma’s home cooking. The food is always freshly cooked. Although the server was alone when we went. It didn’t take long for our food to be served. Their flan, you must try it. They also have Tierra which was surprisingly delicious. When we came the second time, they ran out of deserts. That’s how good their desert was. The price is reasonable. Knowing how prices are these days. Good food nice people. A must try.
I've been in Arecibo for 2 weeks. I've eaten here, 5xs. My favorite is the Ensalada de Pulpo. Very generous portions, and it's enough for 2 days(1 person). They make a very hardy Asopao. The flavors are amazing, and the family that owns it is really nice, too. Buen Provecho.
Excellent food, I am a regular at lunch time, recommend any time of the day. Food is always great. You can choose from their menu, prices al still fair.
Coming back from a visit to friends in Las Marias we stopped here to have lunch. The claim that this the best mofongo in the island is still probably true. It's soft, well balance in flavors an the carne frita is also excellent. For less than $40 two plates and soft drinks is a bargain also. If you are around, give it a try. You won't regret it.
Wii ok s this was really good. I didn’t know what to order. My wife helped me since she knows Spanish. I wouldn’t have ordered the creole sauce, but she did. And it was good. Probably the best I’ve had while traveling. As an outsider to the culture, I only know what my stomach tells me is good. And it says this is good. Great even.
It’s outside only. If I knew that I would have avoided the place. I like inside and the air conditioner. Beware of the mosquitos. There were a ton.
We got there and there was a small line. By the time we got our food there were 10 plus people.
What encouraged me upon arrival was the fact military members were eating there. I know they know where good food is. Even police showed up to get food before we left. We were clearly the only lost tourists.
It was the only place to have Coke Zero.
All around very good food. Affordable prices too.
