Very authentic flavors, reminds me of home every time we eat there. The seasoning on the pernil is on point and the weekly specials are welcome additions to the regular menu, whether it's mofongo or ensalada de carrucho. They got you covered with frituras and dulces (alcapurrias and quesitos ftw). Plus they have natural fruit juices, like acerola and parcha! The only ding is the wait time when ordering, but the food is always worth it. Just need to keep that in mind on days when it's 90°+
Food is fantastic, best Puerto Rican food in the area. Pernil was delicious and the portion was very fair for the price. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's a takeout window with a ramp for accessibility. We love it and plan on returning many times.
Small place, great food. Although it lacks parking space, I can't complain. We were able to park and sit down in one of their outdoor tables. The food didn't take long and it was great. One of the cooks even gave us a few pieces of crunchy pork skin free. Everything had a good flavor, and the portions were more than enough.
Quick and delicious... portions and prices are super decent, and my favorite part was the frituras! Or Puerto Rican empanadas... I simply love them, but this place makes them super good. To be honest, it took me a really long time to visit that place... I knew they were around, and I was told by many people that they had been there that typically they would have a long line to place your order BUT I went there early soon after opening and was able to be served super fast. I am pretty sure that they will need to upgrade the size of the parking soon due to client traffic. If you are looking for something super tasty and fast definitely stop by that place.
Best Puerto Rican food I have had locally. The guava and cheese pastry, pernil, arroz con gandules and tostones were good. Good portions. The empanadas looked and smelled great but never got to taste them because I forgot to put them in the fridge and had to throw them out. Good food. I will definitely return to try more of their menu.
