Kintaro Sushi Bar & Chinese Cuisine lsla Verde

We visited Christmas eve. Great food and super tasty. we always come here when in Isla Verde. The food is always fresh and tasty. The menu has a big variety and prices are average for the portions. The service can be better. They were busy and had A huge party of 18 to attend so they forgot about the table for 2 but food was excellent we had what we wanted.

I was basic and went with the General Tso. It was hot and tasty. No complains. The blended mango juice was amazing! If that wasn't fresh fruit, it was high-quality mango puree. It was so good, I went back for just that to go, but they were unable to provide me with one. Which leads me to believe it was fresh fruit. The waitress was prompt and polite. The location was clean and cozy. The air conditioning was way too high for comfort, in my opinion. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. I'd recommend and return. Enjoy.

5 Stars without a doubt! The food was fresh, hot & absolutely delicious. Took a chance after reading other reviews & Kintaro did not disappoint. Friendly staff with prompt service. Prices are comparable for the quality of food & area. Only wish portion size was bigger because we could have easily eaten more! The fried cheesecake was the best I've ever had. Our $90 bill (tip included) covered sushi roll, 3 entrées with drinks & 1 dessert.

Place is small but very cozy, the serving is amazing! I Order crazy Roll, that baby was HUGE!!!! Edamame and Miso soup. Place doesn't have parking but they do have FREE Valet parking which compensates for it. 1 unisex bathroom and great Drink. Very good prices.

Service was awful! We had to sit ourselves, we waited about 20 min for them to recognize we were there, the drinks were awful, and it took them almost an hour to get our food. Then when we was ready to pay it took them another 20-30min to bring the ticket. I do not recommend this restaurant if you are in San Juan, Puerto Rico area.
