El Churry – Isla Verde (Punta Las Marías)

Oh my God, oh my God, oh my god. This is a must. This place has definitely skyrocketed to the top of my favorites list for any food truck or late night eats, when in Puerto Rico. I ate El Churry every single night during my trip to Puerto Rico. I had one sandwich on Friday,Saturday, and sunday. If I could have stopped here before my trip to the airport on Monday, I probably would have. The first time, I ordered the mixed chicken and steak sandwich. It was okay, but I feel like they skimped out on the steak, so the next time, I ordered a steak sandwich with extra steak and extra sauce. That was incredible. After that, that is how I ordered my sandwich every single time I ordered, again. The food was so good. The service was good. The atmosphere is to be expected for a typical food truck with seating. It's definitely better than some of the food trucks that I've been to as far as outside seating and atmosphere. I also really love the fact that they have the drive-thru option. But I do not recommend taking your sandwich home to eat it later because it gets soggy quick, and it is not at all enjoyable when it's soggy. This is definitely the kind of sandwich that you have to eat on the spot, as soon as it's ready. I will come here every single time I'm in Puerto Rico.

El Churry – Isla Verde If you’re in Isla Verde and looking for the best street food experience, El Churry is an absolute must-visit! This food truck is known for serving up mouthwatering, over-the-top sandwiches that are packed with flavor and guaranteed to satisfy any craving. The “Mixta” sandwich is juicy, perfectly seasoned chicken and steak, smothered in their signature sauces, and stuffed into soft, toasted bread. The portions are generous, the ingredients are always fresh, and the taste is out of this world. Beyond the incredible food, the service at El Churry is top-notch. The workers are friendly, energetic, and always make you feel welcome. Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, they treat you like family and ensure that your food is made just the way you like it. Even when there’s a line (which is a testament to how good it is), they keep things moving smoothly while maintaining their great attitude. El Churry in Isla Verde never disappoints. El churry is a real non touristic place. Most of the people ordering were locals. I know is just a food truck but if you are looking for an informal meal, I really suggest you to try it. We had a chicken wrap and a mix papas both were really good. The wrap is soft outside but crunchy inside (they put some stick crisps inside...I think is a brilliant idea ). Quality has decreased so much that it's almost laughable. Obviously if you're a tourist, you wouldn't know, but as a local that hadn't been to el Churry in a couple of years, I was flabbergasted when I opened the tripleta and saw very little chunks of meat, potato strings and that was the whole thing.
