Attempted to stay here in January of '25 with my wife and daughter. I would not give any stars if that were an option. The place does not look like the photos, the gate that opens to the ocean is rusted in the closed position. The patio area was filthy, there was mold around the fridge and on counter areas. There were roaches even though the place smelled like it had just been exterminated. The smell was so potent that I could not stay due to asthma. I told this to the owner of the place and he said I was lying and refused to give any money back even though we were there for less than an hour. I would definitely not recommend anyone to stay here.
We booked this place for our first time in PR. It sufficed for what we needed, a place to lay our heads down at night after exploring the island.
At first, we were a little leary about the neighborhood but found the end of street access made for a quiet stay. The neighbors were friendly. It was wonderful to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean and wake and enjoy a cup of coffee on the patio. The beach was quite trashed, but we found way too many full conch shells and sand dollars to count. Plus, it didn't seem like it was much more trashed than other beaches in PR. After talking with the neighbor, it seems that it just hasn't been cleaned up post-hurrican.
The pictures are a bit more polished than the place itself; there was still trash left in the bins along with laundry in the dryer. It's worth noting that there is no inside living space, which was ok since we had amazing weather, but if you needed to get away from the elements during your vacation it would suck. Also, it was a bit far from anything touristy, so we usually spent at least an hour and a half driving to what we were doing for the day, but that wasn't awful considering the scenery.
All in all, I would recommend this vacation rental for a couple looking for a relaxing spot right on the beach. But for myself and kids, we will probably find something a little bigger.
