The room itself was small but nice, and overall the place had a good vibe. However, there's a crucial detail I wasn't aware of when booking: the bathrooms are shared and located outside your room. This wasn't made clear during the booking process. If you're comfortable with communal bathrooms, this could be a great spot. But if you prefer a private en-suite, definitely look elsewhere!
I stayed in the private room and it was sooo perfect. They have plenty amenities and a pool for those who might prefer to stay in. The location is within walking distance to the beach, pharmacies, and a variety of restaurants and businesses. Everyone was so nice and hospitable! I will definitely consider staying here again. Thank you for being a part of making my trip wonderful!
Horribly small room with tiny locker. Three guests that were friends were totally disgusting and disrespectful making so much noise in the room from 11pm to 5am. No sleep so tried to sleep in reception.
They had picked up a local boyfriend who started clapping his hands deliberately in reception to keep me awake. Next day I felt so ill with no sleep. This hostel is in a ghetto area. Absolutely nasty bridge to cross. Elevator never works and whole path us with debris from motor accidents, and broken glass. The busiest motorway 24/7.
Not keen on Puerto Rico beaches, as every one I have been on is full of sandflies.
Anyways, this hostel looks like a wannabe 'Cribs'.
I loved the speakeasy bar though.
And still, I have not received my deposit even after 10 days later
Nice hostel, near the beach, bakery and pharmacy. It has a 8ft deep pool, large kitchen, laundry and has access to the speakeasy lounge Vagabundo Social. The Internet was slow but not sure if it was due to the island wide power outage. There's parking in the front and the rear of the hostel. The rooms are clean and cozy.
Oh my goodness, this place is ahh-mazing!!! It's like real-world meets the rainforest or something Super Cool like that. It's so hard to explain, but SO much more than what I was expecting in a hostel. Not only can I check "staying at a hostel" off my bucket list, but whenever I just need to get away from it all on an adult trip away from the kids, The Nomada will absolutely 💯% be my go-to spot from now on in life!!
