This is a unique spot and experience. Our room was the Captain room which was overlooking the bay. It felt like you were in a boat because you’re right on the water. The views were amazing. The deck and outdoor kitchen was an added bonus. Very sweet spot. Very cozy feeling. The host did everything right! Restaurants and local markets are in walking distance.
I stayed upstairs in the crews quarters however I did get to see all the rooms. My room was large, incredibly clean and well decorated. All of the rooms are. The bottom rooms are quite small but comfortable. I loved morning coffee and sunset on the dock. I used the kayaks daily. The outdoor kitchen area and all the comfy outdoor furniture fosters a communal warmth among guests. The location is very convenient to Playa Buye and Boqueron for night life. There are very good restaurants and a marina bar steps away.
I fell in love with this place. Ill be back.
The decor is charming. The atmosphere is welcoming. The view from the hammocks is beautiful. The hosts are simply lovely. My group has voted Sol Casita as the best stay we’ve had visiting Puerto Rico. If you are looking for an authentic experience away from the tourist spots, make your way here.
This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed in. It looks nothing like the pictures if they place you on one of the rooms in the back. The hospitality was horrible. You can hear the other guests (and whoever they invite) talking, screaming and playing music when you’re trying to sleep.it was not clean and the bathrooms were gross. Also was hard to find parking. I don’t normally write reviews, but I feel it would be a disservice to not warn people about how awful this stay was. Please opt for any other place, the Airbnbs in the area were a lot cheaper and a lot better.
