Shady neighborhood. You can only communicate with the front desk via WhatsApp, or go to their separate building. The furniture inside looks like Salvation Army/Goodwill rejects. Terrible mattresses. Roaming roosters/hens crow at 3 am. Loud partying on weekends. Gym next door has equipment that makes the rooms vibrate with a loud pounding. The bedroom a/c quit on two separate nights. Homeless tent 1 block away.
The place has good location and ok rooms, but very poor customer service. We has a booking via hotels.com, arrived at 2 am with two kids and there was no response from the new owners whatsoever. Luckily, we came to a nearby hostel which helped us to book the same place via Airbnb. Do not recommend this place due to the risk of no response.
I was here on a business trip with my coworkers and stayed the weekend. My coworker left his bag when we checkout and we notified the staff that we would go back for the bag later on the day after our activity.
When we collected the bag we were missing an item which was my medical cannabis pen which i have a license for, that i got for my injuries when I was in the Army.
I notified the staff and basically they said they didn’t see it but the bag was in the room in the living room table. The pen was inside the bag and clearly they looked around in it.
The only people that went in the room was the staff and they should know that cause they have cameras outside the door.
They denied it but clearly they took it because it was the only thing missing from the bag.
In conclusion the place is very unprofessional.
I would have taken responsibility if the bag was outside the room or anything else but the bag was in the room with the door closed.
The staff can enjoy the pen cause they clearly need it more than me.
