Beautiful place to eat with family and friends.
Food 10/10 I got this grilled chicken breast with Guavarindo sause, let me tell that was bomb and the Parsley Rice too! Staff 10/10. Ohh got the House lemonade made with spices it was amazing.
Went family and friends for a gathering and we had an extraordinary experience. We were greeted by the owner who receives you with a hand sanitizing solution and a big smile. After that we were greeted and waiter by and extraordinary waiter that I can't recall her name. Who walked us through the best appetizers and plates of the house, followed by wine list. We were a party of 13 and were serve with the best customer service experience we have had in a long time. Food was exquisite, great portions, delicious, great presentation and value for your money. This is a must visit restaurant if you're in the vicinity of Coto Laurel. I Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to have an extraordinary culinary experience. Family oriented and much more. Will definitely return soon.
The staff here were fantastic, and the food was great. I highly recommend their house lemonade, which is fresh squeezed with ginger, mint, honey, and anise in it. The owner was there and was so excited to tell us about the food options and make recommendations. It was the best meal we've had in PR thus far! Highly recommend.
Excellent food and presentation. The establishment is very clean and well maintained. The maitre D’ opened the door as we approached and promptly sprayed our hands with an alcohol spray. He was professional and attentive, letting us know the favorite appetizer options and virgin drinks available. There is a QR code under the table glass for the menu. Guests can view the menu in Spanish or in English. The waiter kindly assisted us with switching it over to English. The waiter was also professional and attentive, making sure to fill our drinks once it was half consumed. The price was great considering the service, atmosphere and quality of food. Highly recommend.
My partner and I visited El Turpial Boricua Restaurant in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, on February 25, 2023, and then two more times. Its motto is: The house of good eating, its food lives up to its slogan!
The attention of Joe, its owner, was excellent from the moment you arrived at the door until he said goodbye.
Upon arrival, he opens the door with that frank smile, pours alcohol into your hands, and proceeds to take you to your table. It's a VIP reception! The menu is wide and varied. You scan it with QRC.
The waiter who served us, Omar, was a very friendly young man who was watching us all the time.
For entrée we selected rice croquettes with pigeon peas and sausage( longaniza), they were delicious! We also tried the cassava with grouper, good, but not as good as the others. The main dishes were pork steak with a fusion of pigeon peas, cilantro rice, and tostones. We both ordered the same thing. The meal was excellent! The flavors are in their right balance and good portions. The drinks were beer, and I had a lemon, ginger, and mint iced tea made at home. It was very good!
For dessert, Bailey's flan was awesome and well presented. The prices are reasonable considering that everything has risen dramatically. We will come back!
And we did it!! Last July 16, 2023, we went back accompanied by two of our best friends! Was their first visit!
They told us that it was a wonderful experience! The food was awesome,as well as the fried cheese cake, and the service was great!
Thanks to all the staff, Joe's wife's, the chef, and Joe itself !
We wish the great Turpial family success, health, and blessings.
See you soon!
