Fantastic place. I’ve been twice in 3 years and both were excellent. Apps were delicious. Drinks were great. I went with the server’s recommendation since I wanted a lighter dish (raviolis and shrimp) and it was excellent. The lamb was also so tender and flavorful and the risotto also very good.
Tasty and small spot in the heart of Old San Juan. You definitely need a reservation and they were able to accommodate a group of 8, would be tough with more than that. We all got the daily special and it was outstanding. Wine list is affordable yet great and the appetizers were some of the best parts of the meal.
High ceiling and beautiful painted walls. The Gnocchi are really soft. The tomatoes of the burrata were so so good. Espresso was delicious.
And the service was very friendly. Young staff here. All great.
We both got the Riggatoni Special and felt the portion was small for a $28 meal. The beef also left a lot to be desired. The sauce flavoring was great. We also had the bruschetta appetizer and enjoyed it, however. It was a bit over valued.
What a gem we stumbled across while walking Veijo San Juan! This hidden treasure was a pure delight!!! Perfect slightly upscale atmosphere and escape from the touristy dives around the area. Highly recommend.
