The absolute most delicious mushroom risotto l've ever had, in a quaint and cozy environment. Our server was personable and extremely helpful as well, especially with selecting wine from their extensive menu. Certainly a safe experience for those with food allergies as well. I wish I lived here so l could come every week!
We have visited Grappa since it's beginnings and it has always been a good experience. The staff and food is worth the drive. God willing next time we visit PR will stop by again.
Grappa is one of Dorado’s must experience eateries. The setting is quaint and cozy. The service was spectacular! The food was incredible! It’s Italian food at its finest. So happy we ate here and so happy to put Grappa on my must go again list. Highly recommend eating here.
Grappa in Dorado Downtown delivers an unforgettable Italian dining experience! We began with the Polpette—perfectly seasoned ground veal with fennel and garlic, served in a rich pomodoro sauce with fresh basil that set the tone for the meal. For our mains, we savored the Verdure Pasta, a delightful combination of roasted vegetables tossed in pesto with toasted walnuts over spinach fettuccine, and the Risotto Spagnolo, which was cooked to perfection with Carnaroli rice, vegetable broth, smoked ham, chorizo, cannellini beans, spinach, parmesan, and a hint of paprika. Every dish was bursting with flavor!
To finish, we indulged in their lemon pie with a beautifully crafted meringue topping and layers of crisp crackers—truly the perfect dessert to end a fantastic meal. The ambiance is cozy and vintage with a casual elegance, and the noise level is ideal for conversation.
The service was top-notch; our server was incredibly polite, friendly, and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations and happily answering questions about the menu. Highly recommend reserving a table at Grappa—it's a must-visit for anyone seeking Italian cuisine in a welcoming setting!
I cannot say enough positive things about Grappa! Please go there! We accidentally happened upon Grappa on our drive back to our airbnb. The power had gone out and we were a little nervous. It was our first trip to PR and the last night of our visit. We walked in w/o a reservation, but they were very nice to seat us. We immediately started to de-stress. They even charged my cell phone while we were eating. Our server was very friendly and polite. We had the foccacia, Verdure pasta, meatballs, spaghetti, and delicious wine. Everything was homemade, and you could tell. The ambiance is wonderful. Soft music, comfortable seating, flickering candles, and the aroma of amazing food!
