Well for starters the chips were stale and the only salsa they had was spicy. We ordered 2 quesadillas 2 carnitas tacos and 3 carne asada tacos .quesadilla came in 2 small flour tortillas. The Carnitas were dry. The carne asada was good but they offer no hot sauce or any taco suaces at this restaurant so the tacos are dry as hell. You have to pay extra for sour cream or pico de gallo. Restaurant is a total ripoff. Only come here if you’re ready to be disappointed.
Very delicious food!
My husband and I ordered a virgin Pina colada and a single serving of chicken fajitas. The Pina colada was so delicious! I don't even care for coconut, but the pineapple coconut flavors just worked so well together. The fajitas were delicious as well and one serving was enough for the both of us. (We weren't stuffed by any means, but satisfied. Sharing a meal is a great idea if you aren't super hungry.)
Service was excellent. The restaurant was super busy and loud, but we never had to wait long. Our food came out within 5-10 minutes of ordering, which is amazing!
The atmosphere was incredible. A mariachi band was playing and singing and everyone was hyped up. It was a lot of fun.
Oh my god. I think this might have been the worst meal I've ever had IN MY LIFE. This wasn't just bad, this was next level awful.
The only logical conclusion I can come to is that someone at some point tried real Mexican food, and then they told some chefs about it and they tried to recreate it. And then those chefs left and hired new people that had never cooked before but showed initiative, and then they tried to recreate those chefs recipes. And then they left and hired people who had never cooked before and these ones didn't quite show the same initiatives, but they showed up and were pleasant enough so they got the job. And now through this complex game of food-telephone, we have whatever this is...some weird take on Mexican food made by people who have never had actual mexican food.
Just look at the photos. If you've had real mexican food, you can tell immediately that this is going to be a disappointment. The guac...was not guac. Go to Pueblo and buy the cheapest pre-made guac, and it would be a huge improvement from this. The tortillas were inedible. Gross. The meats were dry and gross. Tomatoes weren't ripe. It's just shocking how terrible this food was.
BUT, the saving grace...the employees were all super nice. The service was fast, they were great. The drinks were great. It's just the main reason for going there...the food...is quite possibly the worst mexican food in the world.
This place has been in business for a very long long time.
A true and tried classic when it comes to Mexican Food in the Puerto Rico Metropolitan area.
Service was fast, friendly, & courteous. Prices are very reasonable.
Watch out for their Margaritas!!! Not your fancy huge fish bowl colorful type. I only had one with my meal and I was most definitely feeling it.
