What an amazing Spar this is By far the best I've ever had the pleasure to shop at. A wonderful range of everything, being a beer fan I was blown away with the outstanding choice of beers from all over the world and purchased quite a few during my weeks stay. Friendly and helpful staff made my shopping experience so much easier.
Love this supermarket. There's a little café attached at the side, good food and cheap. The staff were wonderful there yesterday lunchtime. As always really. Well set out supermarket, with wide and smart aisles. Good quality fresh produce and some great deals. Friendly staff around, which says a lot about management - the staff are happy. It's a pleasure to shop there. Taxis outside too to make life easier! It's amongst a good shopping area near Mogan Mall so fabulous place to head for getting anything you need.
After already bad experiences in the past we went to the Spar Supermarkt because of a bank holiday in GC. The good thing is that the spar is always open. But unfortunately the quality is always a disappointment. I bought chicken wings here today and they were completely inedible. There was absolutely no seasoning, not even salt, and the meat was way too dry. This place feels like nothing more than a tourist trap. If you want good quality you have to go to Mercadona.
Really have to say ... What a shopping experience. They have everything you need and lots of trained helpfull staff.
The wine, butchery, fish counter, deli, veggie and dry goods not to mention the frozen sections are stocked with great produce.
Would 100% recommed to check it out. The wife is delighted here 😃
Best Spar I’ve ever visited and most comprehensive healthy eating supermarket I’ve seen in my travels around the Canary Islands. It’s clearly a premium Spar with such a great wide selection of foods and drinks.
Underground parking is free for first three hours.
There are fresh vegetable, cheese, meat and fish sections and a great wide selection of everything you could want. Loved the selection of rice cakes and nuts/dried fruits. Even the huge supermarkets in the UK aren’t as good. The local plain yogurt from the Canaries is delicious.
Separate sections (which are actually separate rooms) for both wine and beer are excellent. Fresh bakery has a wide selection of breads and cakes/biscuits. Very much like the 0.90 euro double chocolate cookies.
