The recent yoga and Pilates mat class taught by LeykAlma at the Luis Muñoz Marín Foundation was an exceptionally positive experience.
From the moment you enter the Foundation, the atmosphere is serene and welcoming, creating an ideal space for calming and reducing stress. The class combined strength exercises and deep stretches, working all muscle groups for both young adults and seniors. The stretches improved my flexibility and relieved accumulated tension in my body.
The breathing techniques and soft music helped me achieve a state of deep relaxation, creating a perfect environment for meditation and introspection.
Both classes demonstrated how yoga and Pilates can improve both my physical and mental state. I recommend attending future sessions if you want to improve your overall health and well-being, or simply create a space for yourself.
Yoga and Pilates have changed my life physically and emotionally. I love that it doesn't affect weight, age, or gender, and it helps you improve your overall health. With my great teacher, Leykamarie Alma (even her last name honors her), I learned from the beginning not to compete with anyone, but to improve every step of the way. The environment is pleasant, relaxed, respectful, inclusive, and supportive, which comes with the discipline. She was vital in my rapid recovery from "elbow tennis," my arm, as an artist, and for my new passion/inspiration: surfing. I always come out better than I arrived and very happy with what I continue to achieve with my body, even what at first seemed like a huge challenge. She motivates me to build a better relationship and spend quality time with myself. Leyka lives what she promotes naturally; that, along with her patience, excellent explanations, and constant development, make her the best teacher I could have had to grow in these disciplines.

Teacher Leyka is an excellent teacher, professional, and dedicated to her students. I've been practicing yoga for two months now, and it has helped me reduce stress and anxiety. It has also helped me improve and maintain countless skills such as flexibility, confidence, and physical and mental balance. No matter your level, she always makes modifications. I recommend starting as soon as possible to improve your well-being.
