Great spot for beautiful beach views. The ruins are gorgeous and love how a non-profit organization have painted the urban ruins. Trails to walk and enjoy nature. Which there was help from the government to keep the place in good shape or to provide some security. Lots of four tracks, which makes it a little dangerous since there's no sense of order.
Off road trails, runes, and beautiful beaches everywhere.
I could have spent all day here exploring. There was just so much jam packed into a small area.
Whe. You pull in you see all the builds covered in graffiti, which is beautiful, and some if it is even you can take interactive.
Past the buildings are the runes, which are just a moment in time and breathless.
If you keep driving, you get a fun adventure down a rocky and bumpy road to the beach. At the end is a surf spot with benches and a lil swing. There are tide pools that have crabs. The sand has crabs running around. The waves usually contain surfers.
Great exploring spot.
A beach to surf, chill on the sand and watch beautiful, amazing sunsets. Bumpy road, nit pavement after certain place and watch when it rains. A lot of pot holes you can get stuck if you don’t have a 4 x 4 and even tho be careful if it rained. Totally worth it.
Went on March 2, 2018. Never actually made it to the beach because the road there is pretty inaccessible due to maria unless you're in a Jeep or a truck/suv that you don't mind stressing the shocks on. Had a pretty fun time bouncing through the craters on the road out before turning around. We were new to the area and found accessing through Las Ruinas was best. Graffiti Artwork on buildings on the road to wilderness were a fun addition.
Famous surf spot during swell in the winter.
Amazing place to enjoy the ocean year round.
No restaurant. No bar.
Take you own food and drink.
Bumpy road.
Amazing sunset.
