The adventure of a lifetime. An unforgettable day, I can't say enough good things about this tour. Our guide Ezekiel is my inspiration, so knowledgeable, so happy, his kindness and joy were contagious and inspiring. The scenery was beautiful, it exceeded all my expectations.
Very cool experience- definitely not for everyone. We had a 9 year old girl and her dad who had never kayaked before. This experience was too much for them. It’s hard to learn to kayak in the dark with so many other kayakers. The experienced kayakers in our group had a great time. The stars were amazing and the bioluminescence was awesome. Not a lot of bioluminescence but what we saw was cool. It’s a very unique, very fun and challenging adventure.
We had a wonderful time — the experience was very family-oriented with a beautiful course. Our tour guide, Cesar, was amazing and did a great job leading us throughout the tour. If you need glasses or forget anything, there’s a convenient gift shop where you can purchase them.
We brought an 87 year old man for his birthday to Eco Action Tours. This was a bucket list item and it was well worth it! He was treated like a KING! Everyone there made it very accommodating and fun for us. Joseph was fun and entertaining, we laughed, giggled, and he cranked the music. Also very educational. It was a Great time, everyone at Eco Action Tour was great! Would do it again, the next day our arms don’t hurt!
This was a great experience! The tour guides are courteous, funny and knowledgeable. We went on the earlier tour and the timing was great. We were the last group to leave the docking area and therefore the last out in the bay, allowing for us to experience the bay to ourselves! They did a great presentation about the bioluminescent plankton, as well as the glowing jelly fish (which we got to hold!) and the stars, visible planets and constellations (using a laser pointer to point to everything). We also happened to see a fire worm and a rocket launch! The guides were knowledgeable about the ecosystem beyond just the bioluminescent creatures and generous in sharing information. The only disappointing factor was the light pollution from nearby cities, which makes the bioluminescence harder to see. They did show us how to make it illuminate by waving in the water and offering tarps to block out the light pollination. Would highly recommended this tour company and the experience, even without the intensely glowing water that I was expecting it was a fabulous time!
