La Vista Rides Rainforest River Ride Adventures

My husband and I had a wonderful experience horseback riding with Amy and her daughter, Lilly! The location is beautiful, for starters. Amy and Lilly introduced us to all of the horses and we got to choose which one we wanted to ride! They walk you through everything if you are inexperienced, like we were. They teach you the basics and you practice before heading down the trail. The trail is steep and leads to the most peaceful river where we swam and enjoyed the scenery. After our ride, we were surprised with fresh fruit from the rainforest! Highly recommend this fun and unique experience!

Amy and her helper were wonderful and welcoming. The farm, with the cats, dogs, chickens, goats, sheep, birds, and horses, was a joy to explore. The view from the deck was serene and breathtaking. There is no need for jeans and even if you don't want to wear a swimsuit, wade around in the water to cool yourself and wander the river. A wonderful, unforgettable experience. Thank you!

The most fun I’ve ever had in PR! We met all the horses, Amy made sure to ask our comfort level and experience with horses, and we went on a gorgeous river excursion. I chose Dante, the sassiest horse, and was not disappointed. We stopped for gorgeous views, a beautiful river with clear flowing water and colorful rocks, and made our way back on horseback. We ended our experience with fresh fruit and refreshments. Amy and her team are super friendly, took numerous photos of us, and answered all our questions. The BEST authentic and immersive experience, would definitely recommend to experienced horse lovers and adventurers.

The experience was nice, the property is beautiful and the horses were great. Amy let’s you meet all the horses and choose which one you would like. We chose Bellorina and Mariposa and they were very sweet girls. The disconnect was with the expectation that was set on the website, upon reading the booking you are under the assumption that a two hour horseback ride with river adventure would be as said, a two hour horseback ride with a stop in the river. You spend about 15 minutes on horseback to go down the hill to the river which is where you spend most of your time. Then you get back on your horse to go 15 minutes back up the hill. The fresh fruit and refreshments while taking in a breathtaking view was a lovely touch but not what I was seeking for this experience. If you want a longer horseback riding experience like we did, this may not be the one for you.

Our best experience horseback riding. Amy was a lovely, caring person. Her love for her horses and nature was amazing. Such a peaceful relaxing experience. Views were breathtaking!
