Feral I've been feeding I thought was a boy until lately I noticed weight gain. I think she is a pregnant female. Villa Michelle gives out appointments on the first Monday of the month. Get there by 5 am, they open at 7 am to get on line. Arrived at 7am & at 9 am I got an appointment for next month. Only 2 animals per appointment. Part 2 will be actual sterilization.
I’ve read some negative reviews about this place that has me scared until I went. So let me address those concerns, maybe it will help.
1) don’t bother calling, like lots of health services here, it’s best if you show up. They don’t have a large staff and they favor the people in front of them. It’s best to just show up around 8 or earlier and get in line. This is also true when I take my daughter to the doctor. You can make an appointment on the first Monday of the month but I think it’d be pretty useless. For reference I got there around 8 today and was done by 11:15 or so. We only needed shots
2) they have plenty of shade, but it’s an outdoor waiting room, so don’t expect AC
3) be chill and they’ll be chill with you. This a general rule of thumb here. People are usually trying their best and they want to be nice, but you get what you give here.
4) good luck if you don’t speak Spanish. I’m sure they can work with you if you don’t, but I didn’t see any indication that it was a bilingual space.
If you don’t have time to set an appointment with a normal vet but can afford to wait a few hours on a given day, this a great option. Prices were good too!

5 months agoWe adopted a dog from here during our vacation and brought him back to South Florida with us. Everything went smoothly we could not be any happier.

a week agoI'm delighted to hear there's a place for dogs and cats. I'm looking forward to the day I can have pets again.
