The best Turkish restaurant in town, the salad is delicious, all the meat dishes are authentic and very fresh.
Best shepherds salad I have ever had
by far. The chef Suleyman Yilmaz is very friendly and extremely good at what he is doing.
Awesome find in San Juan that we just randomly found. The service was insanely fast - my water glass was never empty. It ended up being a great find. We had the hummus appetizer and shared the curry chicken dish and cheese flatbread. It was just enough food for two and we left feeling full and very satisfied (there were no crumbs left behind)
Absolutely amazing experience at Ali Baba Restaurant in Puerto Rico! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming — Fernando, and Luis who were so friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. We also met the owner, who was just as warm and hospitable. The food was exceptional. The bread was soft and fresh, the chicken sandwich was juicy and flavorful, and the Iskender was rich and delicious. But the real standout for me was the manti — absolutely incredible! The imam bayıldı was also packed with flavor and perfectly prepared.
If you’re in San Juan and looking for authentic Turkish cuisine with genuine hospitality, this place is a must. Highly recommend!
Excellent food and service! Waiting time was great also. Loved the hummus with lavash bread wich is homemade & the adana garlic yogurt main dish that comes with a extraordinary pilaf rice, baked potatoes and salad. At the end we got kunefe for dessert. Just WOW! Better than turkiye
Extremely mediocre Turkish food. The falafel tasted frozen and really firm. The chicken Shawarma was dry and full of tahini sauce to conceal the fact it was not marinated properly (and dry). The Lamuacen was bland.
One thing I need to comment on is how extremely overpriced everything was on the menu. I’m sorry, entrées starting around $30 and $40. What are you thinking? It’s just chicken and rice and some salad. This is not fine dining by any means.
Overall, the experience was not good even though I sampled three things from the menu I didn’t like anything. The freshly baked bread that came with my falafel was great, but that’s about it.
