Family-owned, and absolutely a must-see. We had such a lovely chat with the person running the register and they gave us info about the local scenery as well as the adorable coqui frog (by the way, the stickers are hand-drawn!!) Highly recommend!
What do you want me to review!? I can not write about what is ineffable. As one who does a little more than dabble but not a professional, I felt welcomed by the scene, which is bilingual on Tuesday nights, although I am sure the proprietor Lady would welcome all languages Definitely a must see must hear if in Old San Juan.. ton of art displayed every medium represented. Make sure to purchase to help her support a fabulous gathering place.
This place is truly magical — I’m in love with the poetry, the art, and the atmosphere. Every wall, every piece of artwork seems to breathe with tenderness and love. You can feel it in every corner — it’s a space filled with heart and soul.
My partner and I wandered in off the street on a Tuesday to find an open mic filled with wonderful, supportive, and talented people! It was so incredible to listen to artists from all walks of life share their art. It was inspiring to see so many different people from different places sharing stories and poems and songs that rang true for everyone. True poetry.
