This was my first time ordering from this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the mandarin chicken with egg fried rice which was good but the dish would have been excellent if it had the traditional fried rice. The chicken dumplings were delicious as well as the unagi nigiri. I would definitely try them again.
The food was as expected. Nothing to rave about. Food came out quick. Server was AMAZING . They continued to refill our water. We only had 3 appetizers and split a small entree. The bill total was $51 before tip. We didn’t get to try any of their drinks. The atmosphere was beautiful. Great lighting and fixtures.
We ordered the steamed chicken dumplings that were very tasty. The Vietnamese springs rolls were pretty good too, the crushed peanuts on this dish were a great touch. Also had California rolls as appetizers. Very good as well. Exactly what was expected.
I did find that entree a bit underwhelming. Seems like they used a short grain rice to fry the rice instead of a long grain. Maybe the wok wasnt as hot as it’s supposed to be as the color of the rice seemed to come from soy sauce instead of the frying process. The protein of this dish was tasty.
Other than the short grain rice being used , this place was pretty good. I would come back and try other dishes like the noodles next time
5 stars all around. Jason, my server was polite, relatable, poised, and professional. It’s a lost art of serving at the high level and he nailed it. As per his recommendation I ordered the Philly roll and the combo noodles (I forget the name of the dish) it could have been easily shared with someone as it was a lot.
I throughly enjoyed myself at silk and I can’t wait to go back.
Tremendous value and fantastic service. The cocktails, food, and service were all exceptional, especially for the price. Our server was gracious and very helpful.
My wife ordered a rum punch and I had a Barralito old fashioned. They were excellent. For an appetizer, we had the chicken dumplings (fried). They were light and delicious.
We ordered the Kom Po Chicken and Silk fried rice. Both were fantastic. This was our first meal on our first night in Puerto Rico and we'll be back. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Food was amazing! Service was even better. My server was great, and took care of my table exceptionally well I really wish I remembered her name to call and give her a compliment although I did that night. She was spot on, didn’t have to wait for anything, she even packed up our leftovers for us. Great recommendations as well. Sushi was great, dumplings were amazing, and dinner was to die for. Would highly recommend for a casual fine dining experience. My only qualm was that the lobster tail was extremely over cooked. Be aware they do have a dress code that doesn’t allow beach wear or clothing that is too revealing.
