Crash Boat Beach is halfway between the Ramey Air Force Base and Aguadilla and still retains some remains of its pier infrastructure from when it was used to rescue downed aircrews from Ramey Air Force Base. Now these piers remains are used as a fishing and recreation spot.
The Crash Boat Beach pier / dock was originally built with fuel pipe that pumped aircraft grade fuel for Ramey Air Force Base. As time passed, local currents dropped tons of sand into the beach and pier area, making it unusable to dock a boat at the pier.
Crash Boat Beach is now a tourism spot where vacationers participate in recreational activities, such as swimming, sun bathing, surfing, and snorkeling.

a week agoWe had a great time and the beach was awesome as it was really hot and you had to go in every 15 to 20 minutes as you can’t stand the heat. Protection yourself from the heat and avoid burning your skin. Have a great time

2 weeks agoThis was such a fun beach. We were skeptical about it because of how busy it sounded, and it was very busy, but there’s plenty of space on the beach and the vibe is so fun and festive. We parked on the road and walked in instead of paying to park. The history is interesting. And jumping off the pier was a highlight on our trip to PR. The restrooms were under repair and so there were only portable toilets, which wasn’t a dealbreaker for us. We didn’t walk over to the free parking lot area so there may have been better amenities there.

2 weeks agoFamily and Myself really loved Crash boat beach. Recommend you get there early to get a good parking spot. Gets crowded. Food was great and everyone is really friendly. Make sure to bring goggles to see pieces of bridge way out by the buoys (farthest swim zone)

2 weeks agoAn amazing beach where everything you want is just feet away. From the most amazing blue, clear water to vendors with delicious food, mojitos and jet skis. A Must!

a month agoBy far one of the most beautiful beaches I have been to so far. A little crowded but the scenery and water makes up for it 100% (Especially after visiting Buyé beach yesterday, awful) but can also walk down the beach to a quieter area. Very friendly people, cool food vendors and lots of ice cream carts on the beach. 10/10 Side note: parking can be tricky but not a bad walk if you’re able to do so.
