THIS PLACE IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE COCKTAIL BAR ON THE WHOLE ISLAND.
The bartender was great. Explaining the menu and catering our drinks to what we wanted. These drinks will give your tastebuds a wake up call. So many layers of flavors going on in one sip. Every time I make the drive into San Juan, I’m stopping here.
Top notch service. Great value for everything. The Tuna tartare is out of this world. We went back AGAIN the next day for the sofrito cocktail before dinner. Probably gonna go back before we leave for the tuna again honestly.
Today, I decided to stop by this place
Atmosphere looks fenomenom, our waitress was super professional, cordial, and even though we were sitting outside, she was on top of the game. Now, this is where everything went south. We order expresso martini....worst expresso martini I ever had
And I have been to many places and order expresso martini
But this one took the ball of how awful it was. The first red flag was that it was served in a plastic cocktail cup, with that price at least served it cocktail glass or coupe glass
The second one was the foam on top
If you see the picture, the foam is at least 3/4 of the drink
Third one, It was sour to the point that I was drinking beforehand going to this place. It made me sober again.
Regarding that experience, everything else was excellent.
This place has a chic classic style that's very appealing. It reminds me of places I used to go to in New York and I love that. The minute we walked in we were welcomed by a kind employee that asked where we'd like to sit. We opted for the bar and she made of drinks. I thought this place was going to be super expensive but es pleasantly surprised. She charged $7 for a bacardi and sprite. They played American Christmas music for the hour I was there which is fine by me since I love the holiday! The staff was very friendly and I will definitely return here in the near future.

6 months agoHad a gin and cucumber drink—really fresh and easy to sip. Rage Against the Flowers was smooth with a nice floral touch. Both were super good.
