Wow! I was amazed at how good the empandas were. I had to get more the next day! I tried the pinono, chicken, beef and cheese! All excellent choices! I will be back! Highly recommended 👌 👍
Typically when I go to La Placita, I never make it this far but I'm sure glad...we did! Best empanadas, we had de carne(meat), queso(cheese) and pollo(chicken). They had several different empanadas like pepperoni pizza and so on. Quite a few were sold out; when I arrived but they kept making more. It's definitely an after hours hang out. Plenty of alcohol and non alcoholic drinks...it's a bar after all! Lol. They had tables with seats and benches but not too many. It is not a large or spacious spot but it's inviting! Plenty of people going in and out. They had music and people were dancing! I'd definitely recommend stopping by and trying these FANTASTIC empanadas! Eating and drinking in PR is never outrageous unless you're in the tourist trap areas. I prefer hanging with locals. It's more fun! Sad we did not buy more empanadas or take some to go. I still fantasize about eating just one more...le sigh. Thanks!
Great eats while visiting La Placita in Puerto Rico. Tried their cheese empanadas while a little under the influence and they were utterly delicious. Great way to end a long night of drinking
One of the best bars in La Placita.. We stumbled across this bar and got our drinks from here all night. The drinks are indeed strong and they are mixed phenomenally. If we come back to PR, this will be a for sure stop.
