Nice place in the streets of old San Juan with a great Atmosphere, good stop if you need a break to get out of the sun with very detailed cocktail menu. Had the Claude and Sherry was clean with smooth finish with their rum. Should have tried on the rocks but was pressed for time but was happy with my choice.
As always, this is just my personal review. This place has its own style—if you're looking for a Mojito or other ordinary drinks, you’d better look elsewhere. Here, cocktails are for those who appreciate style and authenticity. They do have familiar drinks, but for the full experience, it's best to go for their signature cocktails.
As for whether I’d come back—definitely yes! And if you have the time, visit the rooftop in the evening—it’s an unforgettable experience.
Ivan's humor, patience, and knowledge throughout the tour & tasting was beyond compare. Learning about the roots and history of rum was a delight and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! You can tell that they take pride in all that they do here. Additionally, the rooftop bar was refreshing and relaxing and the drinks were tasty. We only wish it was easier to get ahold of a bottle back in NJ! Can't wait to see where the road takes these folks next!
Love the rum substitutions for otherwise used spirits for famous cocktails. Moody vibe sets the scene right away. They make their own rum which isn't the typical stuff you get in stores. Very smokey and rich. Bartender was very knowledgeable and helpful. Walked away with one of their bottles 🤩

a month agoSan Juan truly knows how to do rum! Scryers was a great spot to just chill and have a few cocktails to wait out the hottest heat of the day!
