Incredible, beautiful, uninhabited Culebrita is a Carribean gem, with unrivaled natural beauty and award-worthy beaches. We stumbled upon a tour group making the 20 minute boat ride from Culebra and it became the highlight of our travels to PR.
Abundant reefs near the shore made for excellent snorkeling, and we saw nurse sharks, squid, and a plethora of fish, corals, sponges, etc.
A quick hike (through fairly rugged terrain) will take you to the lighthouse or other beaches, and the trails are well blazed with sufficient signage.
If you can get to Culebrita, don’t pass up the opportunity.
Beautiful uninhabited island. It usually isn’t very crowded unless your are there on a holiday. The beach is perfect with white sand, clear water and palm trees. There’s a short hike to an old lighthouse with incredible views. Definitely one of my favorite spots on our sailing trip
This place is absolutely amazing. I’ve been all over the Caribbean, Hawaii, Bora Bora, and the U. S. And I can honestly say this beach holds its own with any of them. It’s surrounded my mountains and green hills. Some people we were with said it looks like SoutheastAsia. Highly Recommend. If you walk off to the left you will find a trail to some hidden pools. Be very careful it’s very Rocky and shoes or strong Sandals are highly recommend.
Good beach with less visitor, sometimes you were the only one there. It is on inhabited Island of Puerto Rico. I saw a lot of Pelicans there. There is a ruin of old lighthouse on the top of the hill to explore. On on end of the island there were natural bath to enjoy too. There are feral goat on the island too.
One of the most amazing beaches that I have seen in my life. The only way to get here is in a boat or jetski. You need to bring all the things you may need there is no place to buy stuff. It has a natural pool and you can see St Thomas from one of the shores. Clean water and no so strong current. Watershoes recommended to walk around the island. There's a historic castle on top of a mountain.
