Loved the view of the place. There is parking near by and also there also is a wooden boardwalk were it connects the parking to the beach. Went on a Saturday at noon and it was a little crowded. La poza is kinda small, but we still manage to get a space to get wet and cool down. The water was great, you can see fishes all around and the best part is that when a wave hits in a specific rock, it makes an awesome and super great splash that it is just amazing to experience. The place is great for pictures. I do recommend to try to go on a week day.
La Poza del Obispo is an absolute gem in Puerto Rico! The natural beauty of this beach is breathtaking, and the vibe is unmatched. Whether you come fully prepared with all your beach gear or just decide to show up, you’re guaranteed a great time. There are plenty of local vendors offering delicious food and refreshing drinks, so you’ll never go hungry or thirsty. The water is stunning, and the area has a laid-back, welcoming feel. Perfect for a chill day by the ocean. Definitely a must-visit!
Beautiful beach to visit…. Arrive there no later than 11:30 am to avoid crowds! There are a series of coral reefs or rocks blocking waves coming into a natural sea swimming pool. This makes this place unique! Parking is free. Hurry up coming to see it before it’s gone with waves!
Nearby there are a historical lighthouse & a pirates 🏴☠️ theme park. Parking is $3 & adult ticket is $14.
We went there on a Thursday afternoon and it was pretty crowded. The rocks prevent waves from coming in so you get a calm pool in which our baby enjoyed a lot! Lots of parking spots and no fees. There was only one shower so it was pretty crowded. We could not find a restroom but there are restaurants nearby. You can drive by Puerto Rico-1 on the way from San Juan for sometime; there are some nice patches.

a month agoOne of my favorite family friendly beaches. Ample free parking. Local food trucks and lots of space to pick from. Take googles there's plenty fish.
