Ok where do I start!!! Aside from the beautiful views, Playa Azul tower 2 is a death trap. I stayed at tower 2 room 902 and it was an absolute nightmare. First and foremost the dryer did not work. The tv in my bedroom was broken. The pull out couch was pissy and dirty. The door lock was very tough to open. Took about 2 to 3 minutes to jar it open. In case of fire everyone would not make it out alive. Outlets throughout the condo did not work. There was water from the fan on the balcony that my sons unknowingly did not notice and slipped and were injured on. Kitchen cabinets broken. The hotel elevator trapped myself and my young children for nearly 15 minutes. The ocean water is very rough to enjoy. The pool and beach closes way too early at 7pm. Really wish I would’ve done more research before staying there. It was not what i expected at all.

So much fun here! The current was very strong, so we got a great workout in. Sand is soft and a clean beach! Parking is easy on the weekdays. Water is perfect temperature.

Beautiful and clean beach. Not much walking from the street to the beach, which is nice. Waves were a little rough when I was there (October), but there was still people getting in. Not too crowded which was nice and it's very close to shops and restaurants. I did notice many people there after hours (after 9PM) enjoying themselves.

Beautiful 🏝 Many families come in the weekend to enjoy music and food. I visited in June 2018 and there was a lot of algae pushed by waves and winds, but we could snorkel and see fish were the rocks are. You can take extensive long walks on the beach as it is never ending and goes around corners! Going north (west of the beach) water gets very shallow during the afternoon as the tide is low. You can walk dozen of feet in on the rock formations, truly amazing experience. P.S. some locals were fishing at night, it was interesting to speak with them. 🐟
