It was a 2 1/2 hour drive from San Juan - a three hour tour, if you will. BUT, unlike the skipper and Gilligan, our three hours or so in this small beach town and beach were literally time spent in heaven! Incredible vibe, clear waters and friendly, welcoming people made this one of our best days on the island. Do yourself a favor if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, and make the drive to this beautiful beach!
Beautiful beach area. Clear water. Clean park. Public access but cannot drive cars in park on Monday and Tuesday. Would recommend for a great sunset viewing
Great town and beach. Some eatery don't open until friday to start the weekend, other open at 130pm. There are food cart vendors selling "Pinchos" equivalent to shish kabob. 🤗
Plenty of photo opts and great souvenir store.
Worth exploring!
We have a house in Cabo Rojo and Playa Boquerón is our favorite Beach. We usually start our day with a nice run or brisk walk and finish it up with a dip in the water. Truly a beautiful beach, white soft sand beach and close by stores and restaurants to access when need be.
