Another stunning Puerto Rican beauty!! Park as close as you can but not blocking the gate, hike up 5-10 minutes, find a tree to park your items and enjoy paradise. From there you can sit in the water all day or walk up to the other beaches. Truly beautiful.
One of My Favorite Beaches in Cabo Rojo!!
El Combate Beach is truly one of my favorite spots in all of Cabo Rojo. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by calm, crystal clear waters and soft, golden sand that just invites you to relax. It has that perfect mix of natural beauty and peaceful vibes that make it ideal whether you're looking to swim, sunbathe, or just sit back and enjoy the ocean breeze.
What I love most is how the beach feels both lively and laid back at the same time. On weekends, you’ll find families, couples, and friends enjoying the day, yet it never feels overcrowded. And don’t even get me started on the sunsets....they’re absolutely breathtaking, painting the sky in shades of orange, pink, and purple.
Whether you're visiting for the first time or coming back for the tenth, El Combate always delivers. It’s a place that instantly puts you at ease and makes you appreciate the simple beauty of Puerto Rico’s southwest coast. Highly, highly recommended.
Unspoiled paradise removed from the crowds of Western Puerto Rico. The sleepy village of Combate is small. Be sure to BYOB it with ice, snacks, beach chairs, and a sunbrella. there’s one restaurant right on the water. Get there early to find parking close to the entrance. otherwise it’s a short walk to haul all your beach gear. Lovely sunsets good spots under the tree canopy for shade. Water is clear with a muddy bottom. Bring your own Bluetooth speaker and enjoy life. Lots of shoreline for long walks. Don't litter and leave it better than you found it.
Nice chill beach. Parking is easy yet have to walk a bit to the beach yet it’s on flat, gravelly ground next to salt flats. Earlier arrival is easier to find a shaded spot. Lots of iguanas and lizards, and curious birds, don’t leave your food lying around or feed the wildlife. Clear water.
