This beach is absolutely incredible. No words can do it justice. Getting to it is an adventures dream and not for the faint at heart. The only way you can get to this beach is by truck/jeep and then a sketchy hike down. Once you're at the top you have a 20 minute ascent down the steep hillside on foot. The trail down is really just a gully washer. You're climbing over large rocks and boulders. You must wear good shoes and be prepared for physically demanding ascent and climb. As of December of 2021 the trail is marked sporadically with pink ties as trail markers. At one point close to the bottom you are in a mangrove forest. It's pretty unsettling because there's no point of reference to get you towards the beach or back up the hill. You're just following ad-hoc markers that other hikers have left along the way. I was on the beach for 3 hours and never saw another person. DO NOT wait until it's close to sunset to leave the beach. You need plenty of daylight to find your way back through those mangroves. This beach has a great surf break. I saw really good ten foot swells. I just don't know how you would get a surfboard down there. A body board is more realistic possibility.

A very beautiful and peaceful beach!! Nobody there when we went, and what a beautiful day it was. Great place for a swim and playing in the waves. Waves were much bigger than anywhere else on the island, although still relatively small, it was a blast. Hike was not so bad really. About 30 mins one way all downhill to the beach. Be careful hiking through the boulder forest and don't step on any hermit crabs!! We saw only one small snake. We got to the parking spot perfectly fine in our golf cart too, btw. I would not say you need a Jeep.

Difficult to get to and no amenities. Just pure beach with nobody on it. Bring everything you need to enjoy a peaceful day.

Awesome Trailhead and very difficult to pinpoint without pictures. The drive up was absolutely beautiful and actually quite difficult, would not attempt without a real truck or jeep. There was a truck camping there when we arrived, and after locating the entrance to the trail, we opted out as it was extremely overgrown and Packed With Spiders! lol Make sure you bring real hiking gear and a Big Stick!!

Amazing hike. Really cool way to spend the afternoon. Definitely need good shoes (we were wearing flip flops so it was extra challenging). Bring WATER! Also we got robbed… our golf cart parked on top of the hill was ransacked by surfers who we saw coming up when we were going down the hill. No big deal - but a good reminder that this is a poor island and people will do anything to make a $$$ Overall - must do activity if you are into hiking and want to have more active time on the island.
