The water temperature is amazing! The water is really enjoyable, but yes, seaweeds is all over the beach “nature at work”.
We had a great time and enjoyed very much this spot, you can go out in the water and have the greatest time, extremely clear water with fine sand. You won’t regret.
This was my first time sailing to Culebra Island for a holiday, Zoni Beach is the best beach on this island, the water is crystal clear and there are not many people.
This beach is the hidden treasure on the island. It's practically empty, with a very large beach in either direction to lounge on. In my opinion, the water was clearer than Flamenco. The waves were not as strong, at least on the day I visited. If you go approximately 50 yards to the left from entrance after parking, you'll find the best area to go out with no rocks to maneuver around and you can walk out pretty far. I regret not bringing snorkel equipment as this is the ideal place to go.
The only drawback was the sand was mixed with some black stone, which caused it to get VERY hot and you couldn't stand barefoot in one area long, so either get in a shady spot, on a towel, or stay in the water!
We went back the next morning for sunrise as it faces to the east. Highly recommend!
Very beautiful beach with great views of the smaller adjacent islands. It was a little bit too wavy for my liking compared to the other beaches that day and it also had many reefs with sea urchins on them so we had to be a bit careful. Definitely wear water shoes.
